WEEK 1 - Korea, Here We Come.
Welcome to the blog. This is the story of three NYP students on an exchange program. Young and naive, they will embark on a journey to live in Korea for four months on a one-way visa. "Study hard, play harder." is their motto. They will be studying overseas, meeting new people and making new friends in a foreign land. New challenges and experiences await. DAY ZERO.
~Mon 27 Aug 2018~
Today is actually the last day of exam for the three of us. Whether good or bad results, today is the day we leave Singapore.
We met at the Changi airport at 10:30pm, to bid our family farewell and catch the 1am flight.
DAY ONE.

DAY ZERO.
~Mon 27 Aug 2018~
Today is actually the last day of exam for the three of us. Whether good or bad results, today is the day we leave Singapore.
We met at the Changi airport at 10:30pm, to bid our family farewell and catch the 1am flight.
DAY ONE.
~Tue 28 Aug 2018~
Arriving in Korea around 8am, we explored the Incheon airport and had our very first meal.
We caught the shuttle bus to Gachon University and arrived at 4pm.
Soon, we were ready for dinner. Right outside the main gates of the University we found a simple meal - a burger and a side of fries. None of us knew how to speak Korean. We got around simply by pointing at things and using sign language.
DAY TWO.
~Wed 29 Aug 2018~
We had our Orientation briefing at 10am where we met our Korean buddies. They showed us around campus and gave advice on the important errands such as the student ID card, alien card and medical checkup. It was time that we started choosing our majors for the course registration.

DAY THREE.
~Thu 30 Aug 2018~
Today we were feeling more adventurous - We travelled all the way to Myeongdong, tourist spot very close to Seoul. We went shopping and to find good exchange rates.
This is our breakfast at 'Isaac's Cafe' outside our University, just before leaving. It costs around 3900won for a drink (peach tea) and a Ham and Cheese Toast.
DAY FOUR.
This is our lunch at Gachon University (vision tower level 1).
Dinner at Pizza School (5 mins walk from Gachon University).
